Portal Room Types

Portal Room Types

Journeybee offers a range of pre-defined room types for your partner portal, plus the ability to build custom rooms from scratch. This article describes each room type and what it does.

Pre-defined rooms

Pre-defined rooms come with built-in functionality. Each one can exist once per partner type. Some require modules to be enabled on your account.

You can configure which fields appear on lead cards, and switch between card and list views.

Deals

A deal pipeline room. Partners can view their sales pipeline, track deal progression, and monitor revenue and commissions. You can disable deal creation for partners if needed, and configure which fields appear on deal cards.

Branding

A brand assets room. Partners can download logos in multiple formats, brand colours, typography, design templates, and usage guidelines.

Shared Files

A one-to-one file sharing room. Partners can upload and download documents, contracts, and other files shared between them and your team.

MDF

A Market Development Funds room. Partners can submit fund requests, track approvals, and manage their MDF budget.

Available for: Distributor partners only. This room has no access controls since it is automatically visible to all distributor partnerships.

Custom rooms

Custom rooms are flexible rooms you build from scratch using content blocks. You can create unlimited custom rooms per partner type.

  • Custom Room: Start with a blank canvas and add blocks.

  • From Template: Start from a saved room template to reuse a layout.

See the Custom Portal Rooms article for a full guide on building custom rooms with blocks.
