Bulk Upload Resources

Bulk upload turns many files into resources in one go. You upload up to 100 PDF or video files, apply shared settings to the whole batch, fine-tune titles and access per file, and each file becomes its own resource — with its own content, access rules and engagement tracking.

Where to find it: Go to Resources, click the Create dropdown and select Bulk Upload.

Who can use this: Team members with the Admin or Partnerships role, on paid plans, with resources enabled for your company.

What you can upload

  • PDF and video files only. Other file types (images, PowerPoint, Word and so on) are filtered out with a warning. To use those, create a resource and add the file as a content block — see Creating a Resource.

  • Up to 100 files per batch. Over the limit, only the first 100 are used.

  • Each PDF becomes a document resource and each video a video resource, containing that single file as its content. You can open any of them in the builder afterwards to add more blocks.

Step 1: Upload files and batch settings

  1. Drag and drop files into the upload area, or browse to select them.

  2. Choose the batch settings that apply to every file:

  • Resource Type: Shared (visible to partners) or Internal (your team only).

  • Folders: A folder to file the new resources into.

  • Resource Tags: Tags applied to all of them.

  • Publish immediately: Ticked, the resources go live straight away; unticked, they are all saved as drafts. This is a batch-wide choice — it cannot be set per file.

  • Access control: Partner Types (shown when you have more than one enabled), Categories, Tiers and Specific Partners — the same access model as a single resource.

  1. Click Proceed to Preview.

Step 2: Preview and adjust

The preview lists every file with its type, label, size and access. From here you can:

  • Edit titles: Each resource's label defaults to a cleaned-up version of its filename (extension removed, underscores and dashes turned into spaces, title-cased — q1_sales_deck.pdf becomes Q1 Sales Deck). Click a label to edit it inline.

  • Override access per file: Click the pencil in a file's Access column to give it custom categories, tiers, tags or specific partners — a Custom badge marks files that differ from the batch. To change several at once, tick their checkboxes and use Edit Access.

  • Remove files: Use the bin icon, or tick files and click Remove Selected.

When you're ready, click Create Resources.

Results

The results page shows how many resources were created successfully and lists any failures with their error. One file failing does not stop the rest of the batch. Use the View Resource links to open individual resources, or View Resources to return to the library and refine them — add more blocks, descriptions, images or extra access rules per resource.

Troubleshooting

  • Some files were filtered out. Only PDF and video files are accepted in bulk upload.

  • I can't find the new resources. If Publish immediately was unticked they are drafts — switch the status filter to Draft. Also check the Shared/Internal toggle matches the Resource Type you chose.

  • I can't set a file to draft while publishing the others. Publish-or-draft applies to the whole batch. Upload the two groups separately, or publish everything and switch individual resources back to Draft afterwards.

  • I went back a step and my files disappeared. Going back to the upload step discards the uploaded files — you'll need to upload them again.

  • I need stage-based or contact-tag access. Those access rules aren't available during bulk upload — set them on each resource's Access tab afterwards.

Good to know

  • Filename hygiene pays off — titles are generated from filenames, so name your files the way you want the resources titled.

  • Every file becomes a full, independent resource with its own engagement tracking — see Creating a Resource for everything you can do with them.

  • The uploaded files are also added to your Assets Library, so they can be reused in other resources.

  • For bulk-importing partners rather than files, see Partner Import (CSV).
