Payments

Journeybee provides the ability to receive and pay your partners through the platform using 3rd party providers.

Use Cases

  • Company Commission payouts for leads referred or associated with partners.

  • SPIFF (Sales performance Incentive Funds) to payout individuals.

  • MDF (Marketing Development Funds) to provide funds for your partners to use.

Setup

To set up your partnership payment system:

  1. Go to your settings -> payments account page within Journeybee.

  2. Choose the provider you would like to use for paying out your partners.

    1. Note that Stripe can only be used for Company Commission Payments.

  3. Create an account with the provider chosen (if you don't already have one) and go through the step by step process to connect it to Journeybee.

  4. Once the connection has been completed, you can now see the payments page within Journeybee

Commissions

To set up commissions, go to your settings -> commission page.

Here you can create default commission arrangements based off of your partnerships types, categories, tiers or choose specific partners to associate with the default commission.

You can also choose when a payment should be created via a deals stage or specific custom fields. For example you could set the deal stage to "Won" and a custom field called "Paid" which would mean a deal would have to reach the "Won" stage and have the custom field "Paid" populated with a true value.

Once you have created the commissions and linked them to your partnerships, any deal that is created with a deal value, will auto calculate the commission payment and then create the actual payment due within Journeybee based of the select stage and/or field.
