XTRM Payment Provider

XTRM is the payment provider that handles partner payouts in Journeybee. When you connect XTRM, deals with commission stages automatically generate payments that are processed through XTRM's payout system.

Where to find it: Go to Settings, then Integrations. Find XTRM under the Payments section.

Connecting XTRM

Go to Settings, then Integrations, and click the XTRM card.
Enter your XTRM API key and API secret.
Click Save to connect.

You can obtain your API key and secret from your XTRM account dashboard.

How payments work

Once XTRM is connected, the payment process works as follows:

A deal with commission stages is created and moved through deal stages.
When a commission stage is reached, Journeybee automatically generates a payment record.
The payment is sent to XTRM for processing.
XTRM handles the payout to the partner's registered beneficiary account.

Payments do not need to be created manually. They are generated automatically from deal commission stages.

Spiffs

Spiffs (individual incentive payments) are also processed through XTRM. When a spiff is created on a deal, it generates a payment targeting the individual recipient, which is then processed through XTRM.

Viewing payments

You can view all payments on the Payments page. Each payment shows the deal, partner, amount, and payment status. The payment status reflects the XTRM processing state.

Good to know

XTRM uses API key and secret for authentication, not OAuth.
Payments are automatically generated from deal commission stages, so you do not create them manually.
Partners must be registered as beneficiaries in XTRM to receive payouts.
If XTRM credentials are invalid or expired, payments will fail and need to be retried after reconnecting.
