Team Management

Team Management

What is Team Management?

The Team page is where you manage everyone who has access to your Journeybee account. You can invite teammates, choose their roles, and remove access when someone leaves.

Where to find it: Settings, then Team (under Workspace). Admin or Partnerships team members can open the page. You need a paid Journeybee plan.

Three roles

There are three roles for people in your company:

  • Admin: Full access to all company settings and can add and remove team members.

  • Partnerships: Full access to the platform except for managing company settings and integrations.

  • Indirect: People who are created automatically when they interact with Journeybee, for example partner users who access your portals. They only see their own partner data.

What's on the page

Team members are grouped into sections:

  • Admins: Your active admin users.

  • Partnership Team: Your active partnerships team members.

  • Indirect: Partner and portal users created automatically.

  • Invitations: People you have invited who have not set up their account yet.

  • Deleted: People whose access has been removed. They can be brought back if needed.

Each person shows their name, email, the date they joined, and their role. Empty sections are hidden.

Inviting a team member

  1. Click Invite user at the top (admins only).

  2. Type the person's Email.

  3. Pick their Role (Admin, Partnerships, or Indirect). The default is Partnerships.

  4. Click Send invite.

They will get an email with a link to set up their account. They appear in the Invitations section until they accept.

Changing someone's role

  • Use the role dropdown on their row to change it (admins only).

  • When you have unsaved role changes, a Save button appears at the top. Click Save to keep them or Cancel to throw them away.

You cannot remove the last admin. Add a new admin first if you need to change the last one.

Removing and re-enabling access

Removing a team member does not delete them for good. It switches off their access, and they move to the Deleted section. You can bring them back later.

  • Remove access: Click the bin icon next to an active user (admins only) and confirm.

  • Re-enable: In the Deleted section, click the re-enable button next to a user to restore their access.

  • Re-invite: For people who have not accepted their invite, click the re-invite button to send them a new email.

Good to know

  • Only admins can invite people, change roles, and remove or re-enable access.

  • Partnerships team members can see the team list but cannot make changes.

  • Removing someone keeps their past activity and history. They can be brought back if they return.

  • You must always have at least one admin.

  • Indirect users are partner and portal users. They are managed separately from your internal team.

  • If an invite does not arrive, check the email address is right and ask the person to check their spam folder, then re-invite them.
