What Are Custom Portals?
Custom portals let you build tailored partner experiences using simple building blocks. Instead of one-size-fits-all rooms, you create exactly what your partners need.
Portals vs Rooms
Portal = The complete workspace partners see when they log in
Room = A single section in the portal (like a page)
Each portal has multiple rooms - some pre-built, some custom.
Room Types
Pre-defined Rooms - Standard rooms with built-in features:
Overview, Leads, Deals, Resources, Contacts, Messages, Brand Guidelines, Shared Files, Projects, Distributor Partners
Custom Rooms - Build your own using blocks
Table of Contents
Enable/disable a table of contents block which sits to the right of your room for partners to easily navigation longer room pages.
Building Blocks
Custom rooms use three types of blocks:
Content Blocks
Text Block
Rich formatted text
Use for: instructions, guidelines, FAQs, announcements
Introduction Block
Profile with photo, name, bio
Use for: team intros, company profiles
Analytics Block
Charts and performance data
Use for: dashboards, KPI tracking
Interactive Blocks
Action Bar Block
Clickable buttons for quick actions
Use for: submit lead, view deals, navigate to other rooms
Banner Block
Company branding and headers
Use for: welcome messages, branded sections
Tasks Block
Checklists partners can complete
Use for: onboarding steps, certification requirements
Goals Block
Progress tracking towards targets
Use for: sales quotas, learning milestones
Advanced Search Block
Allows your partners to search the partner portal for resources, leads, deals, projects and more.
Link Block
Simple links to internal or external pages
Use for: quick navigation, resource access
Media Blocks
Image Block
Photos, screenshots, diagrams
Upload or link images and gifs
Video Block
Embedded videos
Supports YouTube, Vimeo, Loom
Document Block
PDFs and downloadable files
Shows file info and download button
File Block
Upload multiple files to one block which can be downloaded by your partners
Support all files types such as pptx, xlsx, csv etc.

Use iframes to integrate anything
Creating Custom Rooms
Go to Portals → Create Room
Select partner type (if you have multiple)
Choose Custom Room or Custom from Template
Name your room
Add blocks from the sidebar
Configure each block
Arrange blocks in the order you want
Set access controls
Publish when ready
Using Templates
Save any custom room as a template for reuse. Templates include all blocks and their settings.

Partner Types
If you have different partner types (referral, reseller, distributor), each type gets its own set of rooms. Partners only see rooms for their type.
