Salesforce Integration
Salesforce Integration
The Salesforce integration provides two-way sync between Journeybee and Salesforce. Leads, deals, contacts, and accounts are automatically synced between both platforms.
Where to find it: Go to Settings, then Integrations. Find Salesforce under the CRM section.
Connecting Salesforce
Go to Settings, then Integrations, and click the Salesforce card.
Click Connect to start the OAuth2 flow.
You will be redirected to Salesforce to authorize the connection.
Once authorized, configure field mapping on the configuration page.
What syncs
The two-way sync covers leads, deals (Salesforce Opportunities), contacts, and accounts. Deals sync using the Salesforce Opportunity ID. When you create or update a record in either platform, the corresponding record is updated in the other.
Field mapping
After connecting, configure which fields map between Journeybee and Salesforce. You can map lead fields, deal fields, contact fields, and account fields. Configuration options include create-only sync and syncing on specific lead statuses.
CRM sidebar widget
A Journeybee sidebar widget is available for creating leads and linking records from within Salesforce.
Good to know
Salesforce uses OAuth2 for authentication.
If the Salesforce refresh token expires, sync stops and admins are notified by email. Reconnect to resume sync.
Deals sync using the Salesforce Opportunity ID.
